ZoomrFactor 2Alle BilderFür den im Dezember 2020 in rFactor 2 debütierten RCCO eX ZERO 2021 hat das Entwicklerteam einiges Feintuning vorgenommen. Mit der seit dieser Woche bereitstehenden Aktualisierung des Fahrzeugs auf V1.33 halten eine Reihe verbesserter Funktionen und visueller Aktualisierungen Einzug.
Unter anderem hat der RCCO eX ZERO 2021 im Rahmen des Updates Energierückgewinnungsfunktionen erhalten - eine neue Funktion, mit der Spieler beim Bremsen Energie regenerieren können - dargestellt durch die Energie/Kraftstoff, die beim Bremsen blau aufleuchtet. Darüber hinaus enthält das Update brandneue Wischeranimationen, verschiedene visuelle Optimierungen und Verbesserungen sowie weitere kleinere Änderungen.
Um für ausgewogene und faire Bedingungen in den virtuellen GT3-Rennen zu sorgen, hat Studio 397 auch den GT3-Fahrzeugen weitere Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet und ein neues Balance of performance-Update herausgebracht. Dieses zielt darauf ab, den Leistungsunterschied zwischen den verschiedenen Fahrzeugen der GT3-Klasse in rFactor 2 weiter zu verringern.
Obendrauf ist eine Anpassung enthalten mit der das Verhalten der Fahrzeuge beim Windschattenfahren verbessert werden soll. Besonders in der Nähe eines anderen Autos bei der Fahrt durch den Eau Rouge-/Raidillon-Kurvenkomplex in Spa-Francorchamps zeigte sich hier in der Vergangenheit, dass Handlungsbedarf besteht.
Alle Änderungen können mit der nachstehenden Übersicht der Anpassungen bei den einzelnen Fahrzeugen eingesehen und nachvollzogen werden.
