Zoom In schneller Folge hat SCS Software die Patches V1.11.1 und V1.12.1 im Juli und August für die Euro Truck Simulator 2-Community bereitgestellt und das Spiel damit nicht nur um verschiedene Fehler bereinigt sondern auch inhaltlich um neue Features und Städte erweitert und so manche dem Gameplay zuträgliche Änderungen vorgenommen.Mit der seit heute verfügbaren Version 1.13.3 behält man diese Richtung bei und nimmt im Bereich der Achievements, also den spielinternen Erfolgen die die ETS2-Trucker erreichen können, einige gezielte Verbesserungen vor. Dabei unterscheidet man einmal zwischen den Steam-Achievements, für die man auf das von der Valve Corporation entwickelte System setzt, und den World of Trucks-Achievements, die in Zukunft mit der weiteren Etablierung der Plattform eine wichtigere Rolle spielen sollen.
Die nachstehende Zusammenfassung gibt allen die es genauer interessiert nicht nur eine allgemeine Auskunft zu den Erfolgen die auf verschiedene Schwierigkeitsstufen verteilt wurden, sondern listet auch die einzelnen Aufgaben auf für die man mit einem Erfolg belohnt wird.

Total Achievement Count: 28
-Easy - 8 - pretty much everyone would achieve those and so quickly notice the achievement feature, that's how easy it is ;)
-Medium - 8 - not all achievements get unlocked quickly, but none of those should be a problem for any user
-Hard - 11 - certain degree of patience and dedication is required to track and complete those. However the truckers are patient people and we have all confidence in them.
-Extreme - 1 - thats for the most hardcore, never to give up types that drive through the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2
Exploration:
-Discover more than 60% of the map - I am a GPS (Medium)

Laut Auskunft von SCS Software sollen alle Achievements von einem durchschnittlichen Spieler mit genügend Ausdauer erreichbar sein. Gleichzeitig wurde die Zusammenstellung so gewählt, dass auch erfahrene Spieler, die bereits hunderte Stunden Zeit auf den virtuellen Straßen verbracht haben, noch einige Anreize finden sich um die Auszeichnungen zu bemühen. Darüber hinaus beinhaltet das Update noch ein paar Änderungen die wie immer im Changelog am Artikelende aufgeführt sind.

Spieler die bereits die letzte ETS2-Version 1.12.1 installiert haben, nutzen zur Aktualisierung am besten den 13 MB großen kumulativen Patch von V1.12.1 auf V1.13.3. Sollte noch eine ältere Spielversion verwendet werden, empfiehlt sich der 809 MB große PC-Patch V1.12.1 für alle Spielversionen des Euro Truck Simulator 2. Außerdem wurden die PC-Demo zum Euro Truck Simulator 2 aktualisiert und neue Installationspakete für die Gold-Edition und Going-East-Erweiterung veröffentlicht.
