Die neue Meilenstein-Version 1.4 von Automobilista 2 ist verfügbar und wertet die PC-Rennsimulation technisch und spielerisch in allen Belangen auf. Dazu gibt es zusätzliche Autos und Strecken für alle. Die Racing USA Pt3-Spielinhalte sind übergansweise kostenlos testbar. Was sich alles mit dem Update auf V1.4.10 tut, kann hier im Detail erfahren werden.

Damit verbunden ist eine lange Liste an Verbesserungen, neue Funktionen sowie weitere Autos und Strecken. Für eine Zusammenfassung zur Meilenstein-Version 1.4 verweisen wir an dieser Stelle auf unseren Mitte August veröffentlichten Artikel der näher auf die einzelnen Aspekte eingeht.

Gegenüber der damaligen Vorschau haben sich noch kleinere Änderungen ergeben. So benötigt die Racing USA Pt3-Erweiterung noch weitere Arbeit, weshalb diese noch nicht offiziell zusammen mit V1.4, wie e eigentlich geplant war, veröffentlicht wurde.

Die Pt 3-Inhalte können als kostenlose Testversion von allen Besitzern des Basisspiels bis zur offiziellen Veröffentlichung von Racing USA Pt3 ausprobiert werden.

Bei den Spielinhalten warten darüber hinaus die Ginetta G55 GT3 (GT Open), der Mini Cooper 1965 (Copa Classic B), Vulkan Truck (Copa Truck) und Mercedes AMG GT4 (GT4) in den jeweiligen Rennklassen auf alle AMS2-Spieler. Als Überraschung können Besitzer der Streckenerweiterung Spa-Francorchamps nun auch auf der 2022er-Version der belgischen Rennstrecke fahren.

Nach Aktivierung dieses Features in der Gameplay-Benutzeroberfläche, empfiehlt Reiza "ein Rennen mit einem der historischen Open-Wheeler gegen die KI (insbesondere F-Vintage) mit aktivierten zufälligen Fehlern", um die neue Funktion besser zu erleben.

Für Spieler die selbst benutzerdefinierte KI-Anpassungen vornehmen, wird ein Blick in die neuen Zuverlässigkeitsparameter empfohlen. "Wir werden diese Funktion in naher Zukunft auf weitere Klassen ausdehnen, aber die notorisch unzuverlässigsten Rennwagen werden bereits unterstützt", lässt man wissen.

Die umfassenden Verbesserungen, die mit der neuen Meilenstein-Version einhergehen und die Rennsimulation noch realistischer machen, werden mit einem empfehlenswerten Video detailliert beleuchtet. Für alle an den einzelnen Änderungen zwischen der letzten Version 1.3.8.3 bis zur aktuellen Version 1.4.1.0 interessierten Gamer steht wie gewohnt das diesmal besonders umfangreiche Änderungsprotokoll nach dem Video zur Verfügung.
