Sector3 Studios wertet die PC-Rennsimulation RaceRoom Racing Experience mit zuvor angekündigten Verbesserungen auf. Hier über die Änderungen der V0.9.3.008 und V0.9.3.007 informieren.

RaceRoom Racing Experience: Neues Force Feedback, übersichtlichere Menüs, FahrzeugphysikRaceRoom Racing Experience: Neues Force Feedback, übersichtlichere Menüs, Fahrzeugphysik  Zoom Sector3 Studios hat am Mittwoch mit einem 3,7 GB großen Update den ersten Teil der für RaceRoom Racing Experience angekündigten Neuerungen in die PC-Rennsimulation gebracht und tags darauf einen 100 MB-Patch mit kleinen Korrekturen nachgelegt.

Als größte spürbare und etwas Eingewöhnungszeit erfordernde Änderung wird nun in RaceRoom Racing Experience ein von Grund auf neu entwickeltes Force Feedback-System verwendet mit dem das Fahrverhalten besser nachvollziehbar aber auch vorhersehbar sein soll. Gleichzeitig gibt es auf Ebene der Benutzeroberfläche einige Änderungen die dazu beitragen sollen, dass die Benutzererfahrung insgesamt steigt. Das Optionsmenü hat ein neues Aussehen und eine neue Struktur erhalten und zusätzlich zwei wichtige Verbesserungen: eine Suchfunktion und FOV-/Triple Screen-Einrichtungswerkzeuge.

Die Replay-Benutzeroberfläche wurde ebenfalls überarbeitet und bietet nun bessere Bedienungsoptionen. Hinzu kommen verschiedene Überarbeitungen bei den Fahrzeugen und Strecken. Wie gewohnt können alle Änderungen anhand des Änderungsprotokolls nachvollzogen werden.

-Menus - Disabled jumping to keys when pressed in keybinds as a temporary fix for pedal signal jitters registered sometimes at the same time as buttons

-DTM 2020 - Tweaks to differential
-Group C - Tweaks to differential
-Porsche 911 RSR GTE - Fixed a decal on the seat that would still be rendered while the seat itself was disabled in visual settings.

-Sounds - Updated sound from riding on curbs
-Controllers - Updated to latest Thrustmaster SDK, adding full support for their new SF1000 wheel.
-Added support for 16:5 aspect ratio with 3840x1200 resolution
