ZoomNachdem Studio 397 am Freitag, 3. Februar 2023 die zweite Releasekanditatversion für das auf den 21.02.2023 verschobene Q1 2023-Release veröffentlicht hat, welche weitere Verbesserungen und als neues Feature die Möglichkeit bietet in rFactor 2 an Onlinerennen mit Spielinhalten die man selbst nicht besitzt teilzunehmen, wurde am Dienstag, 7. Februar 2023 das zuvor angekündigte GT3-Update und damit verbunden eine BOP-Aktualisierung, durch die das Kräfteverhältnis der Fahrzeuge untereinander insgesamt ausgewogener gestaltet wird, in Stufe 1 veröffentlicht.
Weitere Anpassungen und Verbesserungen sollen rechtzeitig zum Q1 2023-Release vorliegen. Auf das GT3-Update folgte noch am 8. Februar 2023 ein Hotfix mit weiteren Optimierungen. Alle Details zu den Änderungen können wie gewohnt den nachfolgenden Übersichten entnommen werden.

Important Notes
-Radical is still a work in progress and slower than other cars due to work on new tyres. Further work will be done in the next two weeks to improve its performance.
-Mercedes has been heavily reworked, and we will review it over the next two weeks to ensure it is competitive.
-Some GT3 cars presently vibrate when in the garage, we are reviewing a fix for this in time for the release in two weeks.
-We intend to improve the default setups for the next release.

-Improved ttool performance significantly. It’s now more than twice as fast. The checksum will differ, but results are virtually the same.
Known Issues
-Installing items from the content page requires a second request to install via the “updates” page
-Cancel updates button is unresponsive
-Motion blur does not work without SSR set to medium or higher
-Motion blur sometimes activates when it should not
-when the track loops back around on itself.
-After assigning a control in Photo Mode to a Keyboard key, Keyboard input does not work correctly until after you navigate to a different screen.
-Photo Mode settings lost when you change camera
-Maintain current camera over the start finish line on Trackside Camera Group Cycle does not work at present
