ZoomTrackmania 2020Alle BilderFür Trackmania-Fans wurde Anfang dieser Woche das "Royal-Update" veröffentlicht, welches nicht nur Überarbeitungen für den Royal-Modus bringt, sondern den Spielern 25 neue Strecken bietet und Gelegenheit gibt das neue Snow-Fahrzeug in der einzigartigen asiatischen Atmosphäre der ursprünglichen Snow-Umgebung zu erleben.
In der neuen Kampagne sind bis zu 100 Medaillen zu gewinnen, es können Trophäen gesammelt und Level für den Prestige-Skin freigeschaltet werden. Der speziell für die Wintersaison entworfene neue Prestige-Skin ermöglicht es zudem 20 neue Royal-Skins und 13 neue "Mit Rang"-Skins zu verwenden.
Mit dem Update gibt es auch Änderungen bei den Spielmöglichkeiten. Der bisherige Standard-Zugang und der 3-Jahres-Club-Zugang sind nicht mehr verfügbar. Stattdessen haben Spieler die Wahl zwischen zwei Optionen. 1. Der kostenlose Starter-Zugang behält die gleichen Features wie der alte Starter-Zugang, wie zum Beispiel das Matchmaking (Royal- und "Mit Rang"-Modus), den Streckeneditor, den Arcade-Kanal und so weiter. Die einzige Änderung betrifft die Saisonkampagne, in der die Spieler nun Zugang zu den ersten 10 offiziellen Strecken haben. 2. Der Club-Zugang, der jährlich 19,99 EUR kostet, bietet dieselben Funktionen wie der bisherige Club-Zugang, jedoch zu einem günstigeren Preis.
Mit dem am 09. Januar 2024 durchgeführten Update ist auch eine verbesserte Version des Royal-Modus am Start. Zusätzlich zum ursprünglichen Modus kann man nun in jedem Segment durch das Sammeln von Sternen vorankommen. Wenn man 10 Sterne gesammelt hat, kommt man zum nächsten Abschnitt. Die Anzahl der Sterne hängt von der erreichten Zeit ab und reicht von 1 bis 5 Sternen.
Von nun an muss jeder Spieler sein eigenes Segment abschließen, um zum nächsten Schwierigkeitsgrad aufzusteigen. Gelingt es einem einen Rekord auf einem Segment zu übertreffen, wird dies mit zwei Punkten für das eigene Team belohnt, bis ein anderes Team die Zeit auf diesem Segment unterbietet. Die Royal-Strecken bleiben unverändert.

-Updated the wood surface for tracks older than the 9th of January.
-Changed the acceleration of the stadium car on the wood. It goes faster at lower speed (<100km/h).
-Panels have been adjusted to the 1.55 (64:41) ratio instead of 16:9, meaning the size of the panel is now a multiple of 1024x656. Same for the Stadium club asset, it is now asked to upload 2048x1312 images instead of 1920x1080. Tracks are now using a new Stadium and a new mood (48x48Screen155Sunrise, 48x48Screen155Day, 48x48Screen155Sunset, 48x48Screen155Night). The podium has also been updated. To use the new mood on an old track, you can ctrl+click when opening the track. If you created a game mode and show something in the stadium or podium screens, we recommend changing the AttachId from "16x9_Stadium" or "16x9_StadiumSmall" to "155" or "155_StadiumSmall". The current 16x9 images in clubs will be resized to this new ratio.
