ZoomTest Drive Unlimited Solar CrownAlle BilderEin gutes Vierteljahr nach dem Saison 5-Update für Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown und nach mehreren ausführlichen Zwischeninformationen, hat KT Racing Studio am Mittwoch dieser Woche das Saison 5 Update 1 bereitgestellt, welches eine Mischung aus Neuerungen und Fehlerkorrekturen und Überarbeitungen enthält.
TDUSC-Spieler können nun im Spiel einen eigenen Online-Store nutzen, um neue Fahrzeuge oder frühere Solar Pass- und Live Event-Belohnungen zu erwerben oder ihren virtuellen Charakter neu einzukleiden. Als weitere Neuerung gibt es nun Interaktionsmöglichkeiten mit Möbeln und nicht zuletzt stehen neue Fahrzeuge bereit.
Viele behobene Fehler und bekannte Probleme
Wie der Blick in das Änderungsprotokoll klar macht, haben die Entwickler vor allem an der Behebung allgemeiner Probleme gearbeitet. So fällt die Liste an behobenen Fehlern entsprechend umfangreich aus. Auch die Authentizität bei der Fahrzeugen erfährt durch viele Überarbeitungen eine Aufwertung.
Zoom Die lange und durchaus für sich Eindruck machende Liste an Maßnahmen für das Saison 5 Update 1 kann aber nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass es noch eine Vielzahl an Einschränkungen gibt. Um welche Probleme es sich dabei handelt und wie der Klärungsstatus ist, haben die Entwickler daher in einer separaten Übersicht, die weiter unten zu finden ist, zusammengefasst.
Erfreulich daran ist, dass für ein halbes Dutzend Einträge bereits jetzt eine Lösung mit dem für Anfang Februar 2026 geplanten Saison 5 Update 2 geliefert werden soll. Ein Dutzend weiterer Einträge wartet jedoch auf eine genauere Untersuchung, wobei die Chancen nicht schlecht stehen, dass der eine oder andere Eintrag rechtzeitig zur Bereitstellung des nächsten Updates ebenfalls behoben wurde.
Was Spieler zum Start des Online-Stores wissen sollten
Zum Start des Online-Stores gibt es von den Entwicklern noch einige allgemeine Informationen die dafür sorgen sollen, dass es möglichst wenige Überraschung gibt. Zu beachten ist, dass alle Premium-Fahrzeuge keinerlei Level erfordern und man diese somit frei nutzen kann. Die Preise für Wagen variieren von 250 bis 350 Diamonds. Nicht lizenzierte Bodykits sind grundsätzlich immer günstiger als die lizenzierten Varianten. 
Zoom Im Online-Store wird die spieleigene Währung Diamonds genutzt die dort in unterschiedlichen Mengen in verschiedenen Paketen erworben werden kann. Auf Grund einiger plattformspezifischer Einschränkungen kann das zeitlich befristet erhältliche Bonusangebot, welches zusätzlich 100 und somit insgesamt 600 statt 500 Diamonds für 4,99 EUR enthält nur im Steam Store, PS Store und Microsoft Store direkt erworben werden.
Auf dem PC und den Konsolen werden die Optionen 4,99 EUR/500 Diamonds und 99,99EUR/13.500 Diamonds zwar angezeigt, können aber erst mit dem Saison 5 Update 2 erworben werden. Auf allenen Plattformen wird das 4,99 EUR/600 Diamonds-Paket entfernt und gegen das reguläre 4,99EUR/500 Diamonds-Paket ersetzt.
