
ZoomNach dem großen Sommer-Update Anfang des Monats und einem kleineren Update mit Fehlerkorrekturen im Anschluss daran, hat KW Studios am Dienstagmittag, 18. August 2026 das 1,2 GB große Update auf V0.9.8.14 für RaceRoom bereitgestellt. Mit dieser Aktualisierung werden die zuweilen auf die Spielperformance negativen Auswirkungen des neuen HUDs, einige damit in Zusammenhang stehende Probleme und von der Community geäußerte Wünsche umgesetzt.
In punkto Fahrphysik gibt es ebenfalls ein paar Änderungen die die im Sommer-Update begonnenen Überarbeitungen hinsichtlich der Wechselwirkungen zwischen Neigung, Fahrhöhe, Luftwiderstand und aerodynamischer Balance in der GT3-Klasse fortsetzen. V09.8.14 enthält diesbezüglich zwei weitere Schritte dieser Überarbeitungen plus individuelle Anpassungen für Ford Mustang FR500 GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, RUF GT3 und Mercedes SLS GT3. 
Zoom Die Entwickler weisen darauf hin, dass sich Fahrzeuge deren Fahrwerks- oder Aerodynamikwerte neu berechnet wurden beim Einlenken und in der Kurvenmitte anders anfühlen werden - nicht nur schneller oder langsamer. Daher empfiehlt man allen Simracern zunächst ein paar Testrunden zu fahren, bevor man alte Fahrzeugabstimmungen übernimmt.
Das sequenzielle Schaltgetriebe, das mit dem Sommer-Update integriert wurde, verhielt sich nach offiziellen Angaben nicht ganz wie das Original. Daher gibt es mit der Aktualisierung auch hier ein paar Überarbeitungen. Mit einer manuellen Kupplung braucht man diese nun nur noch zum Anfahren, nicht mehr zwischen den Gangwechseln, und man muss weder die Bremse halten noch den Fuß vom Gaspedal nehmen, um einen Gang einzulegen.
Ebenfalls Bestandteil der aktuellen Version ist die Überarbeitung der Strecken Norisring und Silverstone, welche beide auf den stand von 2026 gebracht wurden. Der Norisring hat neue Markierungen auf der Strecke, 8K-Asphalttexturen und ein neues Paddock-Gebäude erhalten, während die auffälligste Neuerung auf der britischen Rennstrecke die rechteckigen Hotelkabinen in der Nähe von Maggotts sind. Wie gewohnt sind alle Veränderungen nachstehend im Änderungsprotokoll aufgeführt.

-HUD - MFD now shows what the fuel you request for a pitstop is worth in laps, based on measured consumption
-HUD - Status strip pins a warning once you reach 80% of your incident allowance
-HUD - FFB graph now plots the pre-clip force
-HUD - Improved snapping to the edges of the screen, so widgets can sit partly off-screen
-HUD - The flag panel now follows a strict priority when several flags are out at once ( black, yellow, white, blue, checkered ), so the checkered no longer draws over a flag that outranks it
-HUD - Performance pass on GPU cost and bandwidth
-HUD - The message of the day is now cleared when the session changes, so an idle driver no longer joins the grid with it still on screen
-HUD - Fixed TC level change notifications that could fail to show up
-HUD - Fixed the lap time counter not clearing when returning to the garage
-HUD - The oil warning lamp is now driven by a more correct value
-HUD - Renamed the "MFD TOGGLE" binding to "TOGGLE MFD" for consistency
-HUD - Possible fix for some systems where the HUD was not rendering
-Physics - GT3 - two further passes across the class on the relationship between pitch, ride height, drag and aero balance
-Physics - Ford Mustang FR500 GT3 - recalculated chassis height, centre of gravity and aero inertia, reworked the ride height / rake / drag / centre of pressure balance, suspension travel and base setup
-Physics - McLaren MP4-12C GT3 - recalculated chassis height, centre of gravity and aero inertia, reworked the pitch / ride height / drag / balance, BoP and base setup

-Physics - Sequential stick shifter with a manual clutch now only needs the clutch to pull away, not between shifts

-Physics - BMW 134 Judd - the gearbox is now correctly paddles instead of a sequential stick
-BMW 134 Judd - Visual overhaul, converted to PBR with reworked textures, cockpit textures updated and LOD D remade
-BMW 134 Judd - New onboard and trackside cameras ( exhaust, front, wheel corners, rear, wing and two onboards ), and the existing cameras were tweaked
-Norisring - Updated art ( 8k tarmac, new white lines, more 3D trees, updated pit building )
-Silverstone - Updated to 2026 spec, including the new rectangular cabins, plus various other tweaks
-Stowe - Improved AI behaviour at the start on the short layout
