Das gegen Ende Oktober für Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 sowie PlayStation Portable erscheinende Midnight Club: Los Angeles ist der neueste Teil der Straßenrennspielreihe von Rockstar Games.
Die Entwickler vom Studio Rockstar San Diego lassen den Spielern darin völlig freie Hand, was Strecken und Wege betrifft und die komplette Stadt der Engel ist frei befahrbar.
Technisch basiert das Spiel auf der hauseigenen RAGE‐Technologie (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine; Anm. d. Red.) die auch schon in Grand Theft Auto IV zum Einsatz kam.
Wie jetzt bestätigt wurde, unterstützt die PlayStation 3-Fassung von Midnight Club: Los Angeles auch die PS3-Trophies. Alles in allem lassen sich 46 Trophäen erspielen - 25 (B)ronze-Trophäen, 19 (S)ilber-Trophäen, 1 (G)old-Trophäe und 1 (P)latin-Trophäe.
