Juni 2025, das in der vergangenen Woche ausführlich vorab angekündigte und vorgestellte Update 5 mit dem 2024 Season Pack 5, welches die Motorsportsimulation mit den letzten Spielinhalten der Saison 2024 komplettiert, veröffentlicht worden. Darauf folgten jeweils am 11., 12. und 13. Juni ein Hotfix zur Behebung verschiedener Probleme.

Die Frage welche Verbesserungen und Überarbeitungen Update 5 und die Hotfixes bringen, wird nachfolgend mit den offiziellen Änderungsprotokollen beantwortet. Diese geben Simracern die Chance sich über die einzelnen Änderungen in den verschiedenen Bereichen der Simulation zu informieren.

Le Mans Ultimate - Update #5 Hotfix 3 - 13.06.2025-Changelog:
-Fixed crashes on startup for some users
Fixed in this morning’s online maintenance:
-Online registration – Fix for players with a RaceControl Lite account being unable to register for the next event after leaving an event. Reduced event time out so players can register for next event 5 minutes after race starts.

Le Mans Ultimate - Update #5 Hotfix 2 - 12.06.2025-Changelog:
-Fixed a game crash when users press Start Driving
-Fixed a game crash when users are calibrating controls

Server-Side Fixes (already deployed)
-"No vehicle" being given on servers
-0% tyres in race sessions - this relates to unlimited tyre allocations, we are limiting tyres in all events until fixed
-Race splits not working correctly and being seemingly random

Game Updates
Broadcast
-Fixed broadcast overlay not showing correct information

Custom Liveries
-Fixed Custom Livery uploads not working

Engine and Tech
-Fixed a game crash when exiting to desktop from the Wheel & Pedals calibrate menu.
-Fixed an issue where some users could not start the game due to an incompatible sound engine config file

Online
-Fixed Race Start countdown timer not displaying on the standings screen before online races begins.
-Fixed some drivers being served "No Vehicle" in online events and being unable to drive

RaceControl
-Fixed race history being missing from the profile screen

Track Limits
-Fixed extreme track limits penalty points if you run off at the final corner at Imola in race session and rejoin the main race track at the pitlane entrance.

User Interface
-Fixed being unable to select wet tyres in the tyre menu for Hypercars on Le Mans and Spa tracks.

Virtual Reality
-Fixed being unable to modify HUD, Menu and World Scale options in VR.

Driver Labels
-Fixed driver labels not fading in and out smoothly online

Gameplay
-Changed behaviour to always put new tyres on when returning to the garage to always keep last set of tyres on
-Fixed rain lights not showing correctly when the track is wet but it’s not raining
-Fixed various issues around best sector reports in results files
-Prevented the use of time acceleration when the user is driving
-Refined behaviour for changing to wet tyres for both AI and player recommendations
-Removed auto pit request for worn tyres and added an Engineer message instead
-Updated classification so that DNFd cares are classified below everybody else who finished the race
-Updated race length calculations to use accurate pitlane time loss predictions and median lap times

Graphics
-Fixed flashing weather/sky issues at start of sessions online
-Fixed headlight pulse not functioning when the previous session completed with the function activated.

HUD
-Fixed an occasional game crash when clearing HUD notifications
-Fixed chat input box remaining on screen after being used.
-Fixed fastest lap time always displaying as a split when sector is selected in the MFD
-Fixed HUD race lap length occasionally showing an extra lap when the leader has finished
-Fixed standings panel showing lap differences by one too many laps when behind
-Fixed time differences on standings panel being incorrect once cars have finished a race
-Fixed VE colours on HUD are not applied for opponent cars in multiplayer
-Improved robustness of tracking fastest laptimes online when clients leave the server
-Removed lap target from Electronics menu as it’s now configurable in the Fuel menu
-Updated Fuel MFD tab with improved fuel saving information
-Updated strategy panel to show required fuel when requesting a pit stop

Input
-Fixed input interpolation to reduce noise, resulting in significantly lower FFB noise when turning the wheel
-Interpolate inputs per axis and corrected input sample time stamps to reduce aliasing

Online
-Fixed chat messages not outputting to results files for moderation
-Fixed limited tyres always being shown as unlimited on all online registration pages
-Fixed practice servers loading a new practice session after ending

Physics
-Added clutch protection so it cannot be used above 1st gear
-Updates to the way brake bias migration is applied

Protests
-Added 2h cooldown to Protests Creation to allow you all to reflect…
-Updated front end protest options and made timestamp mandatory to make protest management more productive

RaceControl
-Added event caching to RaceControl – this is expected to improve behaviour if RaceControl has an issue and restarts

-Increased relative speed other cars need to travel at register an illegal pass

-Revised LMGT3 AI for physics updates
-Corrected cockpit flag display texture

-Added clutch restriction which disallows use of clutch above 2nd gear and above 60kph

-Fuel consumption should correlate better now across GT3s and at different RPM values. Short shifting has slightly less benefit.
