ZoomDiRT 5Bilder vom 17.07.21DiRT 5-Besitzer sollten sich kommenden Dienstag, 20. Juli 2021, schon einmal freihalten. Denn an diesem Tag wird, wie schon vor längerer Zeit in Aussicht gestellt, die nächste Stufe an Spielinhalten und Verbesserungen gezündet. Mit dem "Super Size Content Pack", zu dem es in unserer DiRT 5-Galerie viele Screenshots gibt, halten gleich vier neue Autos - Bentley Continental GT Ice Race Car, Rezvani Tank, Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Baja Concept, Armada Rock Racer - und verschiedene Fahrzeugdesigns dafür, 27 Karriereevents, zwei neue Karrieresponsoren sowie zusätzliche Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten Einzug.
Für Besitzer der DIRT 5 Amplified Edition oder Year One Edition ist die Erweiterung kostenfrei, für alle anderen optional erhältlich. In jedem Fall ohne mit dem Einsatz von Geld verbunden ist in der V5.00 das Parts Unknown Playgrounds-Update, welches neue Weltraum-Objekte und die Location Papoose Lake bringt. Damit und mit den neuen wöchentlichen Herausforderungen und Creator-Awards sorgt Codemasters gleich für eine ganze Reihe an Anreizen für eigene Playgroundsgestaltungen. 
Zoom Mit den beiden brasilianischen Strecken Sao Conrado und Rio Seafront sowie weiteren Fahrzeugdesigns und überarbeiteter Haptik- und adaptiver Trigger-Unterstützung bei Verwendung des PS5-Controllers, stecken in dem Update noch weitere ganz auf das Spielerlebnis ausgerichtete Verbesserungen.
Dazu kommen wie gewöhnlich noch verschiedene Fehlerbehebungen und technische Optimierungen die nachfolgend der offiziellen Übersicht entnommen werden können.

TECHNICAL CHANGES
-Online: Public playlists for both Race and Party modes updated with new events
-PS4/5: Implemented ability to carry all account save progress between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
-PS5: Added user control of rumble intensity through DualSense controller
-40 additional player Levels added, bringing the maximum possible player Level to 200, with an unlockable item when reaching Level 200
-12 community-taken Photo Mode shots added into the game as loading screens
-Photo Mode: Fix for instances of points of interest being blurry when far away, such as the Milky Way in Arizona
-When using a wheel, Input Settings now disable the ‘Trigger Feedback’ slider
-Further fixes for instances of ‘Spare Some Change for Gas?’ Achievement/Trophy not unlocking at the correct time.
-Fix implemented for the Ghosts setup and display when the player sets the fastest global time
-Removed options for user input whilst loading into a private lobby, which can cause players to move to an empty lobby
-General performance and technical updates across the board to improve game performance and quality of life

DiRT 5 - V4.05-Changelog:
-This patch addressed minor technical matters and added an in-game notifications system for news and updates.
