Seit Anfang dieser Woche kann die neue Releasekandidatversion 1.3.8.x getestet werden die in Kürze offiziell bereitstehen wird. Neben einer Vielzahl an Fehlerbehebungen gibt es auch neue zusätzliche Rennstrecken - plus Ausblick auf neue Meilenstein-Version 1.4.

Verbunden mit den neuen Versionen ist eine lange Liste an Überarbeitungen, darunter viele Fehlerbehebungen sowie die Pflege und Aktualisierung älterer Spielinhalte und Erweiterung der jüngsten Physikentwicklungen auf eine breitere Palette von Fahrzeugen - Gruppe A, BMW M1 Procar, Sprint Race, F-Retro Gen3, Metalmoro MRX (alle Modelle), Roco 001, MCR Sports 2000, Opala 1986, Omega 1999, Copa Classic B und FL, Mini JCW UK, Caterham Academy, F-3, F-Trainer (beide Modelle), F-Vee.

Aber auch bereits zuvor überarbeitete Fahrzeuge erhalten weitere Updates. Hinsichtlich der Spielinhalte kommen mit dem Argentinien-Streckenpaket die 3 neuen Rennkurse Buenos Aires, Cordoba und Termas Rio Rondo dazu. Für Cordoba gibt es zudem eine zweite Version mit 4 zusätzlichen Layouts.

Zu beachten ist, dass nach der offiziellen Veröffentlichung der Zweig wieder deaktiviert wird.

Von umfassenden Verbesserungen bei der Physik, KI, dem Reifen- und Schadensmodell, Audio-Verbesserungen und neuen Fahrzeugdesigns an denen man im ersten Halbjahr 2022 gearbeitet hat abgesehen, kündigt sich im Juli mit V1.4 ein neuer Meilenstein an. Laut Entwickler soll es fortan immer im Halbjahresrhythmus ein Meilenstein-Release mit größeren Neuerungen geben.

Zwischen den Meilenstein-Releases sind die monatlichen Updates, die kostenlose und kostenpflichtige Spielinhalte bringen, weiterhin gesetzt.

Update 03. Juli 2022:
Die V1.3.8.1 RC wurde zur offiziellen Version deklariert und am späten Freitag die V1.3.8.1 für alle AMS2-Besitzer freigegeben. Wir haben die Änderungsübersicht ergänzt und für eine bessere Lesbarkeit vor den Änderungsinfos zu den Releasekandidatversionen eingefügt.
