Nach der vor einer Woche veröffentlichten Version 0.9.3.1 auf die ein kleines Hotfix-Update folgte, steht im Rahmen der Automobilista 2-Early-Access-Phase nun Version 0.9.5.1 zur Verfügung die sich durch viel Feintuning in den Bereichen Physik und Force Feedback auszeichnet. Insgesamt ist Reiza Studios mit dem Fahrverhalten der meisten Fahrzeuge für die Version 1.0 nach eigenem Empfinden bereits gut aufgestellt, so dass sich zukünftige Arbeiten im Bereich Physik auf Themen wie Benzinverbrauch, Reifen- und Motorverschleiß, Temperatur- und Zuverlässigkeitswerte konzentrieren sollen.
Auch bei der AI gibt es weitere Fortschritte, jedoch ist die neue AI-Logik noch nicht implementiert. In der Zwischenzeit empfiehlt man daher Einstellungen zwischen 90 und 110 Prozent für die AI-Stärke und 50 Prozent für die AI-Aggression zu verwenden, da diese momentan am besten funktionieren. Ebenfalls im Update sind nun die ersten 3D-Animationen für Scheibenwischer, Aufhängung, Fahrer und andere bewegliche Teile. Auf Steam ist zudem eine Betaversion des Dedicated-Server-Tools verfügbar.
